Meyocks Announces Ownership, Leadership Transition

Kelly Ferguson to Become Agency President, Majority Owner; Rachel Allinson Acquiring Minority Interest

November 17, 2023

Meyocks, a branding and marketing agency, today announced that Kelly Ferguson, a member of the firm’s executive team, will acquire a majority interest in the company and become its president, effective January 1, 2024. With this transition, Rachel Allinson, also a member of the executive team, will acquire a minority interest in the agency. Meyocks’ current owner and president, Doug Jeske, is retaining a minority interest in the company.

Ferguson, Allinson and Jeske have comprised the Meyocks executive team since 2020. During that time the agency has grown significantly while expanding its capabilities in digital media, content marketing, data science, research and public relations.

“Meyocks enjoys enviable, longstanding client relationships and an extraordinary team,” Ferguson says. “We look forward to continuing to earn our clients’ confidence while we build on the agency’s growth trajectory.”

Ferguson worked at Meyocks from 1998 to 2002 after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University. He rejoined the agency in 2009 following roles in North Carolina and Canada and after earning an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Ferguson was recently elected president of the Americas region for the Advertising & Marketing Independent Network (AMIN) Worldwide, a global network of more than 50 independent marketing agencies, including Meyocks.

Allinson, a graduate of Iowa State University in graphic design, is also a long-time Meyocks team member, having joined the agency in 1989. “The Meyocks team is special and inspiring,” she says. “Kelly and I will continue to work to create professional opportunities for them to contribute and grow so they find it hard to imagine doing more meaningful work anywhere else.”

Jeske, who purchased Meyocks in 2008, will step back from day-to-day responsibilities in mid-February and serve in a consulting role through 2024.

“I have been honored to lead an extraordinary team and to work with great clients in important categories such as food, agriculture and health,” says Jeske, who joined the firm in 1993. “Doing meaningful work with special colleagues and clients has been a privilege for which I will always be grateful. I’m excited for a transition that maintains continuity for clients and team members while allowing Meyocks to continue to grow under the leadership of Kelly and Rachel.”
